Introducing Esthesia – Ecstatic Dance Festival

The Esthesia team invite you to an Ecstatic Dance Festival where you can unleash your soul’s fire by connecting you to your senses through the medium of dance and a selection of ceremonies to activate the senses.

We will endeavor to take you on a 2 day ecstatic dance journey with a professional music production, creative decor and heartfelt hospitality.

There will be a days space either side for grounding, connecting and resetting so with this in mind, you are encouraged to arrive on the Friday to make the most of your time with us!

This Ecstatic dance and sensations experience comes at a cost of £120 per adult head, kids under 16 free.

The music at this Ecstatic Dance festival

The Esthesia crew have a lot of experience in organising, hosting and orchestrating music events. Although this is our first Ecstatic Dance Festival, we are very confident we can put together a truly transformational event. Our experience within the music scene has put us in a prime position to introduce some really experienced artists onto the team. We know, that when well selected music is presented, through a crystal clear sound system, the listener will be submersed in an eargasmic bath. Both the acts are experts in guiding the listener though an emotional journey of dance, releases and embodiment. We feel that we have created an event to give you what we believe is a fresh take on Ecstatic Dance.

Loosen the limbs with a Friday evening dub reggae selection by Chief, proprietor of Urban Sedated Records and Outer Regions Cafe. Selector Chief will be taking the crowd on a zestful dub reggae and world music journey. Chief has a lifetime of experience of Reggae, Roots and Dub music, he always has a sound system playing.

There will be a Saturday shake off DJ set celebrating the end of a moon cycle, with a magical musical journey provided by Martin Robinson. Martin is a professional DJ/Producer with life long experience in a broad range of genres. He will be coming to this ecstatic dance with a fresh, inspiring perspective, pulling on his experience from entertaining crowds at festivals, clubs and on radio stations. 

Sunday is the new moon, a time for letting go and receiving the new! Alex Akal and the Wolves band will be playing their unique style of music combined with a guided meditation. Alex and the band are true musical craftsman, so this will very much be something to look forward

Ecstatic Dance is about the sound

We know that the quality of the sound system is of the upmost importance, especially when journeying or dancing to music. To truly honour music producers and the performing artists, the sound system has to be prestige, with a knowledgeable sound technician at the helm. So, for this ecstatic dance festival, we promise to provide a high accuracy sound, with a solid bass, to really motivate the movement for this ecstatic dance weekend..

The shamanic touch to really enhance the whole experience

Before each ecstatic dance guests have a choice of a Cacao ceremony by a Cacao priestess or a Shamanic 5 senses ceremony involving jungle herbs (rapé, Chilcuage, angelita honey) to stimulate and clear the senses. Each journey is facilitated by fully trained practitioners.

Location, Location Location

We are fortunate enough that the land is owned by one of the couples in the team, and they focus on maintaining and improving it’s natural beauty. We are blessed to have a natural spring providing delicious living water all round the site. The 20 acre sanctuary spans 6 fields, provides ample space for a large communal area and plenty of pockets to immerse yourself in the peace and tranquility of nature. A picturesque panoramic view of the Somerset levels and Glastonbury Tor can been seen from viewing points on the land, altogether making this a magical space for free folk to gather amongst old trees and beautiful bird song

Holistic attitude to the whole ecstatic dance event

Holistic = The parts of something are intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole.

This event will be completely powered by the sun using the onsite solar systems. High vibrational organic food and juices will be available, with most of the ingredients grown on site. There will also be hot showers and a sauna on site. An array of extra therapies and teaching will be available at an extra cost. Needless to say, it will be a “leave no trace” event, so please take home whatever you bring.
